Luxurious Fall Wedding at Camp Hideaway Venue in Fredericksburg, Texas

On a foggy October day, Cat and Garret tied the knot! I had the pleasure of meeting this sweet couple when I photographed the moment Garret asked Cat to marry him! Danielle from Satin Wedding Co brought this beautiful wedding to life and Camp Hideaway has to be one of the most beautiful venues in Texas!

With 4 hours before the ceremony, we had plenty of time to capture all of the couple and bridal party’s moments together and get all of those beautiful portraits. The moments together with the closest people in your life on your wedding day are precious! Planning tip, make sure you have a few hours together before your ceremony to enjoy getting ready with your favorite people. Wedding days go by so fast! This foggy fall ceremony was STUNNING! With the Fredericksburg hills in the background and beautiful overcast lighting, this ceremony was perfect! The ceremony had everyone both laughing and crying as Cat and Garret exchanged sweet vows.

After the ceremony, we took bridal party and couple portraits. Videographer Sean Griffin of Griffin Film Productions was such a great partner to capture their first moments as a married couple with me! It was around 45 degrees outside at this point, so I sprinted back inside after we finished portraits. I turned around to see Cat and Garret also booking it back inside and I grabbed a few shots of them running, and this one below is one of my FAVORITE shots from this wedding day! It is such a lovely candid that shows the incredible views from Camp Hideaway!

Cat and Garret kicked off their reception with a precious first dance and speeches, and then it was PARTY TIME! The couple and their guests danced the night away for hours until we sent the couple off! Receptions are such a blast to capture with all of the authentic laughs while you sing your heart out to your favorite songs with the most special people in your life.
